Group Discussion:
01 – Have you had to abandon any exhibition design concepts so far?Yes, many concepts, for example the concept for the exhibition poster of the bursting effect and the name burst.
02 – If so, was it hard?No it wasn't hard because it was a group decision to leave the concept behind, but it was disappointing because i thought it was a good idea.
03 – Do you think it is easy to miss a better idea if it is not the first one?Yes, especially if it's a good one.
04 – Do you have any techniques for creating unpredictable ideas?yes, staying up late. Sometimes I get the best ideas late at night.
05 – Is logic the best way to attack a design problem? No, design problems can have many different ways of solution.
06 – What other problem solving methods could work?being un-logical
07 – Do you ever doubt your design decisions?Yes, sometimes. But I think it is good to doubt them sometimes because it can lead to trial an error.
08 – Do you ever consciously put on “another hat” to get inspiration?Yeah i guess.
09 – Describe somebody opposite to you in relation to their design approach? My friend because he just get's straight into it and doesn't think of the outcomes before he makes it.
10 – Could you imagine designing like them?Yes, and its not a bad way to design.
Blog Exercise: Encouraging solutions
1 . Describe how you have contributed to design solutions for other group members. For example I have contributed my solution to Jessica by giving her advice about how she could approach her design process of making her tarot cards.
2. Describe how you have challenged designs by other students in your group.I'm not sure if I've done this.
3. Are you flexible when others suggest design improvements / changes?Yes, but then no it depends who's saying it to me. If it were my boss or a someone I didn't know well then I'd be respectful to their advice. If it were my best friend I'd say whats on my mind.
4. Choose a design that group input has changed radically. On the exhibition poster. That design always changed radically as goes for the logo.

5. Describe the process of shifting the design solution radically. The process of shifting the design solution radically in my opinion is like, you have a good design concept, then to make it even better someone puts there input and they make it sound even better then in the end you forget about the original idea or go back to it.
