Today for the Origination class we all went to the art exhibition that is being exhibited in Building 5 Red.
There were 4 artists there, and they were the people that put the exhibition together, and hung everything up and placed all the art work everywhere in the room.
The artists talked about there works how they found it difficult to place one art work next to the other, they were pretty much just telling us from their point of view of how they found working with each other, and how they put each others artwork together. They also were giving us tips and strategies on how to come about these problems. One of the tips that the artists gave was for everyone to get mini pictures and a mini map to scale of the room and the artwork and then place them in place so when it comes to the real thing everyone will have an idea of where and who to place there artwork next to so its not just a big muck when it comes to the final day.
I thought that they all gave strong advice and it is very helpful.
R001 - This is a video called The Crevasse, The making of 3D stret art, artist Edgar Muller. He uses so much space to present his artwork, and he knows exactly how much. In our exhibition we should try and picture and measure out how much space we need to we all equally have enough space to show all our art so it can look magnificent.
he's great that 3D guy
